Reg Erhardt Library Card and PIN

Request Your Library PIN

The SAIT ID card is used by students, faculty and staff to borrow materials from the library. A Personal Identification Number (PIN) assigned by the Library is required to access electronic materials.

Visitors and SAIT alumni may use alternative cards and will have additional restrictions on their access to the Library's print and electronic resources.

Get Your PIN

Use the button to request your PIN online.

  • Your PIN will be sent to the email address we have on file. For most users, that will be your @sait.ca or @edu.sait.ca address.

You can access your SAIT email through mySAIT:

  1. Sign into mySAIT
  2. Select the icon in the top right corner
  3. Follow the directions under "Login Info for Student"

PINs can also be issued by library staff.

Expiry

Your card, Library PIN and borrowing privileges expire when you are no longer taking classes or working at SAIT. With a TAL Card or Alumni Card you can continue to borrow from us after you have left SAIT.

Cards and PINs for Visitors and Alumni

Visitors and alumni use library cards issued to them by their home library or the Alumni Association, respectively.

The first time you use your card at the Reg Erhardt Library a barcode sticker will be attached to it. The number below the barcode is your ID#.

If you already have an account with us, request your PIN by:
