The SAIT ID card is used by students, faculty and staff to borrow materials from the library. A Personal Identification Number (PIN) assigned by the Library is required to access electronic materials.
Visitors and SAIT alumni may use alternative cards and will have additional restrictions on their access to the Library's print and electronic resources.
Use the button to request your PIN online.
You can access your SAIT email through mySAIT:
PINs can also be issued by library staff.
Your card, Library PIN and borrowing privileges expire when you are no longer taking classes or working at SAIT. With a TAL Card or Alumni Card you can continue to borrow from us after you have left SAIT.
Visitors and alumni use library cards issued to them by their home library or the Alumni Association, respectively.
The first time you use your card at the Reg Erhardt Library a barcode sticker will be attached to it. The number below the barcode is your ID#.
If you already have an account with us, request your PIN by:
Library users in these categories cannot access online resources outside the Reg Erhardt Library or book study rooms. All library users may receive a PIN for checking their accounts using My Library Account.
Alumni Card holders can place holds and renew materials. Visitors with a TAL (The Alberta Library) Card holders cannot.
TAL Cards expire on the date shown on your card. Alumni Cards expire annually.
